1. Seat patient & Introduce yourself.
2. Place the bib on patient. Set up hand pieces, place air/water tip, take Burr Block out of package, then place Mirror, Explorer, & one cotton plier on the bracket table. Open Composite Posterior Kit and lay instruments out on tray, set up suctions & air/water tip. Have Radiographs pulled up for the corresponding Tooth.
3. Place topical if Anes is required. Get Laser hooked up and ready, pass out laser glasses.
4. Notify the Doctor that the patient is seated, of the patients concerns and any other pertinent information. Treatment plan if needed.
5. Doctor comes in to anesthetize the patient.  Then lets the anesthetic soak in so they are numb for the procedure.  After a few minutes ask the patient if they are feeling numb and let the dr. know more is needed, if necessary.
6. Doctor removes the decay. Mix Irm/Formocresol: 2 scoops powder, 
7. Hand Doctor the Blue Etch to etch the prepared surface(s), Doctor will rinse off the Blue Etch.
8. Place a drop of Bond on a new Pink micro brush and hand to the Doctor. Doctor will place the Bond. Light cure the prepared surface(s) with the curing light.
9. Hand Doctor the Tetric Flowable/AE Geanial in the Composite Material Gun (dispenser). Then the Tetric composite and the Instrument Dr. Prefers

10. FUJI: Fuji has its own primer to be used in conjunction with Fuji products only. Fuji conditioner on Pink Brush, Dr will rinse, Shake Fuji in machine, then place in Fuji Material Gun (dispenser) Hand Doctor the Fuji  in  dispenser.
11. Doctor will adjust the bite and polish. Hand the Doctor the articulating paper as needed. Doctor will remove any blue articulating paper dye from the tooth.
12. Chart appointment in patient’s chart. Make any changes or adjustments to patient’s appt. in the computer and Add your name in the assistant field if not already there, then Complete the appt. in the computer.
13. Take pt.’s chart up front so they can Submit pt.’s insurance, be prepared to Schedule pt.’s next appt. & Treatment plan any changes to pt.’s current treatment plan.
14. Inform the patient of what their next appointment will be,  Ask if the patient has any questions, &  Escort the patient to the front desk so they can check out.

Placed IRM mixed with formocresol

Dried pulp chamber with cotton pellets and placed IRM mixed with formocresol 

38% phosphoric acid etch placed, rinsed 10s with water and dried. ScotchBond placed, dried and light cured
