Denture/Partial Lynal Procedure

1. Seat patient & Introduce yourself.
2. Place the bib on them, and empty out the sterilized instruments on the bracket table.
3. Notify the Doctor that the patient is seated and of the patients wants, needs, desires and any other pertinent information.
4. Clean patient’s old partial/full denture, remove any existing liners
5. Roughened up partial/full denture using a slow speed handpiece and carbide bur
6. Mix and placed Lynal into partial/full denture and seat in patient’s mouth for 15 mins
7. Trim excess Lynal, adjusted bite, and smoothed up any rough areas
8. Give patient homecare instructions, including to take out at night time to brush and informed patient will return in about 2 weeks for denture impression 

Denture/Partial Lynal Charting
Cleaned patient’s old partial/full denture, removed any existing liners

Roughened up partial/full denture using a slow speed handpiece and carbide bur

Mixed and placed Lynal into partial/full denture and seated in patient’s mouth for 15 mins

Trimmed excess Lynal, adjusted bite, and smoothed up any rough areas

Gave patient homecare instructions, including to take out at night time to brush and informed patient will return in about 2 weeks for denture impression
